| Adam Ciferri began tattooing in Maryland after a brief apprenticeship, some 17 years ago. Early exposure to some hand made machines by Paul Rogers had a profound effect on his view of the tattoo machines available and piqued his curiousity regarding what they were capable of. After moving to Minnesota in early '96, he began building machines in earnest. Adam's brother, Seth Ciferri, was his main influence in this endevor.
Adam is most readily recognized as being involved with the original resurrection of the eponymous Sailor Jerry Bulldog, roughly 12 years ago. After necessary changes were made, the machine's new name properly reflected its new identity - the Adam Ciferri Bulldog.
After settling down in Colorado, Adam resumed building tattoo machines in Josh Ford's machine shop. A few months later, it became evident to both Josh and Adam that their efforts would be best appreciated as a partnership. Adam then underwent, and barely survived, Honorable Irons' top secret initiation, and was welcomed into their festooned halls, where he remains to this day.
